so I just checked my battery with a multimeter. 12.09 Volts. So I don't think that's the problem... 
was what I said about the solenoid true? I remember I had to do it sometimes with my old lincoln (but it had a fender mounted solenoid)
My starter hasn't been acting up at all. I just want to eliminate it as the problem before hunting down a fuseable link or anything like that.
