Well...
The connectors on the battery are new this year. Positive cable and connectors on both ends straight from the battery to the starter is just a couple months old.
I didnt try the horn. But the stereo had no problem coming on and being loud when I first got in the car and tried turning it on. But yeah, didnt try the horn or other lights or anything. Didnt have my multimeter with me (and haddnt thought about it) so I didnt check the voltage at the battery. Thats something I will do tomorrow. I do hope its simply a dead battery. It would make getting the car going again tomorrow much easier. But I have a feeling that its unlikely...
But battery is probibly just over a year old. Its one of the yellowtop ones from autozone. Their top of the line (w/o going to an optima) with a 10yr warranty. Not saying it cant be bad though...
The car is ~20miles away from me now... and I dont have a battery charger anyway. So I cant test anything else and cant hook a charger to it either.
BTW... dont think I've ever seen you post before. Welcome to the forum!
