Please note: although I *could* add all kinds of specs, measurements, technical information, and charts about how much a Chevette weighs and how big ( little ? ) the car is, I feel it is important to impart information NOT found in the books. The hard fought stuff that you may not read about, and only find out about by doing. Information gleaned from others, and myself, that may help you to understand and work on your Chevette. I have always said that if you want hard information about the basics, get yourself a GM Shop Manual. These things are on eBay every day, and go for really reasonable prices. The information contained is excellent, and the books are actually a good read. It is quite possible to learn a lot about your car by simply thumbing through the GM Shop Manual, not to mention you may learn exactly how to do some very simple thing !
