I think the glue you are talking about at the Zone is the same stuff from Advance. If it is, it is the same stuff to mount windshields and might be your best bet if you try to reglue it again. This stuff never completely hardens in order to give it some flex. Being on the windshield, it obviously will stick glass to metal. A lot of the shops I send parts to use this stuff for that purpose.
