I'm trying to bring an 84 Diesel back to life that has been sitting for 12 years because of transmission problems. besides draining the fuel tank and changing the oil what else should I do before attempting to start it? Should I take out the glow plugs and squirt oil in the cylinders? Is the injection pump likely to be all gummed up? Thanks
