Heh, it's already into the -30 to -40 degrees Celsius with windchill here in Regina. Definitely not RWD territory for the icy conditions, but my 84 Vette has been getting me to class everyday (though it's more sluggish than ever lol, and having an unproperly timed carb doesn't help for starting either).
Watched Canada's Worst Driver a couple of episodes back where they simulated icy conditions and learned a neat tip I think should be shared (because its really working with my driving). When coming to an icy corner, make sure you're going slow, but while in the turn give it gas and don't overcorrect. Braking in the turn or letting go of the gas will make you slide.
Ripping some parts out of the 4-speed tomorrow sure is going to be cold, good thing the heater works in my car...
