ok makign this very simple:
the brakes are strange on this car
when i hit the brakes sometimes it s near the floor other times its high and firm
when its near the floor i pump it 1-3 times and its high again.
it acts liek theres air in it, but ive blead it 6 times now.
i have reman front calipers and master cylynder. and new rear wheel cylynders. i also have new front pads. there are no leaks or any signs of leaks.
ive been told that it could be internal leakage in the master cylynder. or th eproportioning valve is messed up.
the master cylynder is from orileys and has a lifetime warranty.
i cant fidn a new proportionign valve anywhere. ive heard some are adjustable(are a stock chevettes???)
now no matter what the pedal is doing, it stops straight and no pulls.
how can i test the master cylynder for leakage?
what could be wrong?
how do i know if the valve is messed up and where do i get a new one???!!?!?
sorry for all the questions/info but this has been an ongoing problem for months... i just cant get it right...
