All, on my car I swapped out the thm-180 for a t-4 but I have too much power for it now. Can I swap to a 8'' clutch from the 7'' clutch with the same bell housing/flywheel/t-4 input shaft?

My problem is when I stomp on it in first from a rolling start I spin the clutch more than my tire, and thats not bad considering just the floorpan, pillars and roof are left...

Is there something I can do aside from upgrading to an 8''? The clutch and pressure plate are new stock NAPA parts.
