Last week,I went to my friendly local muffler shop to get a piece of tubing for a project, and the owner wanted to buy my Chevette on the spot! Offerd me $400 cash. I just laughed it off, but he was serious. He said he wanted a Chevette, a Vega,a Pinto, a Gremlin, a Pacer and a Yugo. Said he wanted to have one of each.
Personally, i think the Pacer will be the one worth the most in a few years.
A few years back, I had an opportunity to buy a V8 Pacer X. I didn't buy it because, at the time, the car would have had to retain the cat and pass California emissions. (The V8 Pacer wasn't available in California due to CA Air Resources Board regulations.) It even had a factory tach! I think he wanted $600.
BTW Did you guys know that the right door of a Pacer is longer than the left door? Strue.
