The manifold that you have there is from a slightly newer chevette with a PAIR system.... That stands for Pulse Air Injection Reaction, or something like that... It works sort of like an AIR pump emissions system, but without the actual air pump.
Technically speaking, the manifold should work as is. Another option would be to remove the PAIR tubes and box thing, then braze pipe plugs into the holes in the manifold.
Of course, if you are looking for a stock manifold without any emissions stuff on it, you could keep looking for a non PAIR non AIR pump manifold. Just to let you know all Canadian Chevettes were equipped with non emissions manifolds from 1976 to 1987.
