North Carolina Diesel Chevette with Air Conditioning !
Got an email the other day from Mr. Jeffery Maust of Willow Springs North Carolina. It seems Jeffery has an '82 Diesel Chevette with air conditioning that actually works ! The only one I am aware of to date. As the factory never installed air conditioning, any Diesel Chevette with A/C has aftermarket components.
Jeffery's car also has the distinction of having tilt steering, power brakes, steering, and a factory AM/FM radio. The car currently has 355,000 miles (!), and still runs damn good according to Jeffery !
It appears Mr. Maust lives out in the beautiful North Carolina countryside from these pictures.......
