Diesel Air !

I was called the other day from a Chevette racer who was about to "dis-assemble" a 1984 Diesel Chevette, and he was wanting to know if I needed any parts. So... I went over to take a look, and found a Diesel Chevette with Air Conditioning. It was not factory installed, but this is the first Diesel Chevette I have seen with the A/C compresser still mounted ( before the car was destroyed ).

This is a shot of the left front of the engine, showing the compressor in place. Right below it is the alternator/vacuum pump assembly.

The left side of the engine. Look close, and you can see the condensor in the front.

The hoses running across the back, through the bulkhead.

The car. Or what's left of it. Gonna be a racer someday. ( This is another Diesel car that was sought out because the buyer was told it had a 4.11 gear in it. He found out it had the 3.36 )
