Could this be one of the rarest of Chevette factory options ! ?
The Legendary Rear Spoiler ? Never before seen in captivity ! Only a fleeting glimpse in the 1984 Chevette Dealer Brochure proves that it might exist ! This one doesn't look exactly like the one in the brochure, but then, no one has ever seen that one anyway. Perhaps the factory just used whatever the suppliers whipped up.(?)
If I get a chance, I'll try to get some better shots of this car. I was originally forbidden to take photos, and told to come back another day. Well, I didn't feel like waiting, so I took these from the street. I had a better zoom shot, but the vibrating Diesel car I was sitting in kind of blurred that up a bit. Anybody recognize the stripe on the side ? Is that a factory option ? Looks like optional hubcaps also.
