Chevette "air conditioned" front speaker installation.
I was changing the front dash pad out on a parts car the other day, and after removing the dash pad, I found these two great "speaker" holes behind it !

Now, the car I was working on previously had air conditioning, and I was originally going
to add the outer vents to my car ( which does not have them, or A/C ), but after looking
at this a couple of seconds, I decided this would be a great way to add front speakers to
this car unobtrusively ! It looks like a small set of quality co-axial speakers will fit
in perfectly, and I can use the vent outlets in the dash pad as my speaker grilles !
I guess I could "shut off" or direct the sound with moving the grilles also. :-) I *could* install different grilles, but for now, I'll probably leave the factory A/C grilles intact.
